Today I stopped by the 21st Annual Merchants & Community Services Faire at Tel Hai Retirement Community in Honey Brook. The event was packed but I was able to squeeze in some great conversations with local merchants and community service organizations.
It was heartbreaking to hear from Shanna of Good Works about the thousands of mobile homes that have fallen into disrepair in Chester County and Honey Brook Food Pantry volunteers about how many people go hungry.
At the same time, it was uplifting to learn about all of the good work being done by the people of these and other wonderful organizations in the community including Chester County Historical Society, Downingtown Area Senior Center, Honey Brook Women’s Club, and Senior Helpers.
Please check out their web sites and consider supporting them and the much needed and important work that they do.
